Canopy at NY Tech Forum

It has been a busy couple of months for us. We demoed our Canopy Medical Translator app at a number of tech events around New York City as well as launched multiple pilots at hospitals across the nation. A few weeks ago, we had the honor to be one of the featured companies to present to over 750 people at the New York Tech Meetup, the largest Meetup in the world. Sponsored by Google, American Express and Bloomberg, the event featured a special appearance by Senator Chuck Schumer, who took to the stage  to assure the room that his goal as NY state's senior senator is to “keep tech growing in New York so that one day Silicon Valley will call itself New York West.”

The Senator also talked about patent trolls, the need for better internet access for all of NYC, and immigration reform to increase the number of STEM grads in the US by "stapling a green card to every STEM diploma earned by foreign students."
